How Can I Get Faster Marketing Results?

A particular question that we’ve heard repeatedly from business owners is “how can I get faster marketing results?” “I’m posting on social media. I have a new website. And I’ve been writing a few blogs but I’m just not seeing any results.” Is this a question you’ve ever asked? I think we all have at one time or another.
The truth of the matter is that there is no way to force or rush your marketing to make people respond faster. If you’re doing the same marketing tactics over and over and getting unsatisfactory or slow results, there isn’t anything that will speed that up.
That being said, there are a number of things that you can do to improve your marketing efficiency and bring in more customers sooner.
Be very clear on who you should be communicating with.
This is a point we try to drive home to everyone. If you aren’t crystal clear on who your ideal client is, who is most likely to want your products or services, who has the money to purchase your services, and what their burning questions are, you’ll never get the results you want, even if your marketing tactics are consistent.
Create a message that is compelling.
When you’ve got a clear idea on your target audience, you then need to focus on making sure that you are communicating in a fashion that is meaningful to them and will cause them to take action. Make sure your messages answer all of the questions your audience has about your industry or company.
Communicate your value every day across multiple platforms.
Sometimes people worry that they will be communicating “too much” with their audience. They worry that, if they post too often on social media, people will get sick of hearing from them and tune out. Nothing could be further from the truth. As long as you are providing useful information, your audience needs to hear from you regularly to stay front of mind.
Get out there and sell!
We stress this to our clients all the time. To get the best results from your marketing efforts, you need to engage in robust sales activities. Network, get out and meet people, attend appropriate events, make calls, whatever you need to do to fill the sales pipeline. Use marketing to enhance sales. And use sales to enhance marketing.
Get your website optimized.
If you do not have a regular search engine optimization program, your website will not get the traffic that you want. Search engine optimization, when done properly, will make a large difference in traffic and engagement.
Hire someone or an agency to do your marketing.
If you aren’t able to maintain a consistent marketing program by yourself, it may be necessary to bring in a professional, whether in house or an agency. Marketing is too important to let slip through the cracks. Your business might depend on it.
